Found on an auction site, I don't like it (don't like the 'bone' grip, the etch, the damascus blade, the whole thing looks too new).
I captured these pics from the site.
What is our opinion?

John I think you summed this piece up just about right, horrible, repro grip and blade.

That blade is one of the new laser etch ones coming out of eastern europe, Awful piece

The crossguard, pommel, scabbard and hangers look original with the crossguard and pommel gently cleaned. I would think the gold on the swaz is recently applied.
