seems to have the red 'gem' eyes, a early cut,,,but start to look at them hard it starts to not look so good.

Then the photos of the other side!! crazy

Gigantic fault line!!. Now if they would have cleaned it up a bit more,,,then aged to look ground dug they might have gotten over on a unsuspecting collector... Be careful of ALL rings, fine shape or ground dug,,forget stories, being part of a grouping. Look at only the ring , IF your not sure find another and make comparisons,,ask here,,happy hunting guys..

quick search on eBay will show boatloads of crap repro rings coming from Ukraine Bulgaria etc last few months. Be careful out there, if it sounds or is priced too good to be true it probably is. That being said, there has been a lot of tire kicking and low offering good pieces leaving old collections. No reason to pay premium retail like some big shot dealers charge, but a real piece isn?t usually pennies on the dollar. If it is, be careful.

Good grief! What a horrible ring. Not even a repro of a known pattern but a complete fantasy ring. $200? What a rip-off.

It gets worse.. here is one from Israel of all places. I usually make my search limited to USA only, just because of how prevalent it is in these places, but there are frauds everywhere. Use the forum guys. Look- someone has actually bid on this s**t.

?The best from Ukraine? is the seller. I disagree- Ukraine can do and usually does much better than that.

No one really ever comments so here we go. A whole pile of steaming turds. Amazing to me-
I Move from time to time my authentic pieces for reasonable prices- no interest. Cheap repros sold as repros? I sold every one I ever had the misfortune of owning. Crap for real prices? Even on waf a smeary steaming turd disappeared in hours for $300 just yesterday. Here are some beauties from the East. Yes gaspare they are here too. But eBay is loaded with this guys junk. Hopefully no honest guy buys one. Crooks thieves and losers? Have at it. All yours.

hi members
yes it is mind boggling how these people get away with selling bogas repro rings not period made at all in my opinion the answer is very simple buyers who dont know real from repops buy for less in price where dealers like me sell for a higher price but it is real period made guarenteed if not what i say money back no questions asked then we have people who know thier rings but just cant pay real period prices my motto try and find another reguarless of the price thier choice and please take note anything third reich in condition will all ways be a higher price last please buy from dealers that have good reputations happy new year guys hope all agree with my opinions my private e mail is still nanny1fl@aol.com god bless andy militarynut

Here is one with bids... shameful. I wonder why I do this- I had a collector take the time to tell me a rare authentic ring I am selling for under 300 was me being a rip-off artist as he found one for half the price somewhere. I say to all of you- if you find an authentic HR for 500 dollars- drop that cash and run like you stole it and congrats on a steal of a price. People spend that much on fakes. Please collectors as cheap as we can all be- it is so exciting when some seller does not know what he has- but to tell a realistically priced and honest as they can be seller- who even links discussions of his pieces on his ads- that they are some ripoff artist who demeans the very hobby they singularly post fake warnings for- is beyond insulting and brainless. You do not like a price? Try asking for a better one or just walk away. A person can price something however they want. But 275 for a rare period piece with a swas is no ripoff. 15k for a cast fake hr with a fake coa is!!!

I would take the criticism immediately if I had dealer prices! Look at any dealer site! 500, 600- these are what folks who do this for a profession charge because without apology- and I do not blame them for this- it is their business. The biggest guys just say it- like pawn stars, wittman,
Ruptured duck- they buy to resell to their customers and they are running a business; they will not pay top dollar or anywhere near it- and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that- this is the way of the world. But I am charging maybe half of that! It is so frustrating to hear such BS criticism once again from one particular country in my own hemisphere. Maybe they are mad about the currency disadvantage I do not know. But guess what- if you even want to buy from an elite collector like gaspare- it is not $50-100 for an authentic and mint rare period piece! So very frustrating!

Mike,, I'm far from an 'Elite' anything grin , , but yes understand your frustration... It's the game they play,,,don't let them get to you..

quick story,,, sold a SS tag after our flood here when I was clearing out some items. Had a high price but it was a good, rare, SS tag. Buyer asked how I got it. Told him I flew to Warsaw [via Helsinki], traveled to Kiev by train [24hrs] , then traveled hrs to Karkov in a 'Lada' [small Soviet car], spent 2 days sleeping in the mud. Then all that back, and then finally home. Buyer says,,'Wow' was going to try and talk you down a bit but now I'm embarrassed!'....

Now I try and not sell anything. Don't really collect anything anymore. Occasionally will upgrade if I can. .
Recently a member had a ring he just found that I've been looking for over 20 years. Didn't ask what he wanted for it.. He collects a few different things but one area is Italian.. I took one of my very best Italian rings and offered it in trade.. Both of us were very happy..
