Good morning guys. The winds are blowing,,,times are changing.. The recent MAX show with low attendance,,collectors with less and less 'disposable' cash. [Yes disposable!, this is a hobby, not a necessity in our lives]. The availability of good authentic items / rings . The items we collect like other 3rd reich regalia are finite. There weren't 1000s of each pattern made. There is a end and finding the pieces we like to collect is getting harder and harder with time.

As it is now it seems ALL 3rd reich era or WW2 era jewelry is hard [and expensive] to find whether it is Axis or Allied, or even period civilian and immediate postwar.
IF you are interested and want to be active in the hobby and you see a authentic ring and its priced right,,,get it! Maybe you have 5 or so WestWall spiral rings,,if you see a slightly different variant,,,get it! Availability,,and cost will change even on these once common pattern rings!

Last,, This summer [and now Fall] has been a little rough on me. Getting old sucks guys pure and simple. Some personal problems,,and mainly health problems have kept me from being active here as much as I would like to be. In time God willing I will be back as much as I like to be and killing it with a couple new pieces!..

- things are slow on all the forums / sites. But,,this forum is yours guys! It is the oldest out there. We have members from all over the world. YOU guys built this place ,,and it IS the best concerning 3rd reich jewelry! I know members come and go as they move on to other collectibles but us ring guys are different,,its with us and always will be.. Mike has been a most helpful Moderator,, questions, need advice resizing a photo etc. ask.. Thanks Mike..
Please IF you are bored, see things slow ,,post something! ,,ask a question,,,you see a old topic from the 50 or so back pages we have here bring it up to the top for clarification! See a piece you like from a old topic,,ask for new photos!

Well hurricane season just about over for us here in the Northeast so thats a relief grin ,,
Work at being healthy guys!, Happy Hunting,,lets see any of your interesting finds!

smile

that was my old racing bike I had made street legal a few years ago.. It is going back to England! The new owner will race it also in Englands budding new Vintage Flat track racing..

*My new [old?] ride is this:

Triumph had their main factory bombed during the Blitz. They started rebuilding pretty quick. After the war they 1st made motorcycles but only for Army, Police etc. type of use..
Was only by the mid 1950s that they offered bikes to civilians. Mine is one of the first civilian offerings. 1st Offered in 'Forrest Green' only,,which was really their left over Army paint!! grin A 500cc Flat Head motor,,a lot of toque but slow.. It will do our 65mph speed limit but probably not much more..

Perfect for me as it starts with a sneeze!, low maintenance, well built, dependable.. This is a unrestored running bike. It just needs the rear ammo rack to be complete and a few small screws.. I'm going to do a few small modifications,,clean and wax it good and thats it!
