Gary, I did not buy this. It is in poor shape and the seller wants $2k for it. I thought it was way high.

Just in case you are interested, the stamp says F.WICHELHAUSEN WWE - WWE is an old abbrevation for WITWE (=widow), so the wife of late FMICHELHAUSEN did proceed his firm after his death. And HERSTELLE is a small village near KASSEL.
I also have not seen this distributor on any edged weapon.
