The friend I bought this from just purchased it a week ago direct from the vet in Cleveland, Ohio. He brought it back after the war as a souvenir along with a Luft 2nd pattern dagger, a German WW1 artillery sword and WW1 WKC bayonet. They were all in a closet forgotten about for many years. My friend purchased his coin collection, and I got the Luft and SA daggers.

This looks like an early Spanish copy to me, the inscription is wrong, blade spine is too sharp, repro grip eagle, wrong grip type for a Pack, soft detail to crossguards, scabbard throat, lots of problems here, I don't believe this is a period Pack Rohm.
