Yes, Just did.

Probably .5 liter. I would guess 42nd Regiment, maybe Infantry, but who knows. Inexpensive style - perhaps enlisted man.

Does it have a capacity mark on the side or maybe a maker mark on the bottom ?

The image is of an Iron Cross from the Franco-Prussian war. The lid suggests a tie to a unit, probably a Regiment. The general look is of an older item.

Take the time to post the actual photos and you'll get more feedback.
