It's a Blood Order or a copy of a Blood Order? These were given out to people who participated in the 1923 Putsch Attempt w/Hitler. It's not really my area so I can't tell you whether it's real or not? I don't like the look of the 900 silver mark though, the numbers look on a slope instead of straight in a row. But either way they are sweet to look at. I hope its real.

Here is one that Ron Weinand posted on Wehrmacht Awards Forum. See the 900 mark nice a straight. Hope this helps?

I guess that definitively answers the question as to whether its real or not. I had no idea one way or the other if it was a 900 mark or an 800 mark I knew it should be on there straight. IMO Glad to know they are 800 though.

STOP AND HOLD THE PRESSES!
In regards to my above posting about '800' vs '900' marking. My post concerning the '800' mark was in response to Adam's posting of Ron Weinand's medal which is '800' not ’900’ marked because it is a 2nd. pattern medal.
As to the medal queried by diplo matt, there is no doubt that it is an absolute reproduction and the photo offered is of too poor quality for me to see the silver designation.
Respectfully,
John

So the first pattern had 900 silver and the second had 800?
