There is a local collector that may sell some off. I dont have any background in Minis so Id like to have some good background.

Red flags to look for, values etc.

Is there a site that yall could recommend? or even dealer sites that can give me a ballpark?

thanks

Here are 2 excellant sites for great discriptions and for use as price guides. Note, both Tom Johnson and Tom Wittman however get premium prices for their daggers. Hope this helps.

there were a few guys at our MAX table that were talking about minis..
After a while they all agreed,,there were only 4 different minis!? I asked for clarification,,I got:
4 different branches of service/para military org.
As example, not actual - Army, Luft., Navy, RAD..

Is this true??

G,

Maybe not exactly bogus, but post war.

Also genuine originals include 1890 Imperial Navy cadet, 1901 Imperial Navy officer and "first model" navy.

Alcoso made RAD leader minis (orange and white handled), but fakes do exist; they tend to be a tad larger.

Tom Johnson would argue some authentic SS minis exist, but probably made by factory workers during the Reich just for fun as opposed to a "production" line item. 99.9 % are fake however.
