i`ve seen these recently as part of a set of miniature divers knives from different countries including this model, this may or may not be one of them , but cant recall ever seeing an original mini in hand . think ive seen pic of only one that was supposed original in a reference back in 70`s but it could have been a one off custom made , not by a known manufacturer .

I've never seen one, but it is very cool to say the least. Very questionable, I feel even doubtful it is period, but certainly nice to own at a reasonable price. Could you please give its size, and note whether or it not the blade screws into the "scabbard"? Also, does it appear to be brass?

I found another one for sale on a German auction website. The seller guarantees the originality of the knife. Two pop up in the same time... Hmmmmm... We know what it meens.

Those things can be bought to this day at a couple to a few hundred dollars each, at least for the reg size. I learned the hard way , there is a dealer out in europe who has loads of them.

I think these are made by (or for) Draeger.

the scabbard appears to be a converted 303 oil container these have screw tops so ideal for the forger.
when offered one at an arms fair ,the seller added "apprentice peice"
nice!
