Looking for some info on my Heer dagger. Would this be considered a mid or late period dagger?

Hello Mauser88, what I can see in the pics I would assume the dagger to be a mid period example (last variant crossguard but "suirrel with sword" trademark). A late model dagger would have the same overall configuration but the "suirrel looking over the shoulder" trademark.

Well the scabbard aint Eickhorn to start with.
The logo doesnt give away its production date.
The zinq based fittings do.
Ill date it 1937+

These is original Heer dagger, produced by Carl Eickhorn Solingen 4. type during 1936 - 1939 period.
IMO scabbard is replaced with Horster Solingen one.
