I need some advice...
Is there a documented variant for some SS Daggers to have polished aluminum cross guards ? I am interested in purchasing an SS Dagger with these attributes but do not know if this is a known variant or not. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Yes, Aluminum crossguards are found on some SS daggers. So are steel guards.
Both are rare and only on certain makers. I'll try to dig up who those makers are.

Ed Wusthof RZM daggers have plated aluminium crossguards (1196/38). I'm not aware of any makers having polished aluminium, only seen plated aluminium on SS daggers, and it's uncommon. I've only personally come across the Wusthof with aluminium hilt, but there may be others...

I have been trying to buy a woodwork M-33 (RZM period) by Henkels with the twin marking for 25 years without success. While I recall the twins logo, I don't recall any other markings. He just doesn't want to sell... The aluminum crossguards look like they have a bad case of measles and the rest of the dagger is near mint.
I have an NSKK chain for over 45 years with a no maker blade and magnetic crossguards. I discussed with Wittmann 30 years ago and he said that there was one maker that had them (magnetic crossguards). The crossguards also have a VERY slightly different arc to them where they join the handle. Wittmann said he had only noticed this anomaly of 1. Magnetic guards 2. SLIGHTLY different curve to the crossguard and 3. No blade maker mark on a few NSKK chains.
Since the blade is makerless we really don't know who made them. Kinda' similar to the SS chains with no maker blades.
