I think this buckle is post war but the owner thinks it's for real along with the BS story.

I've had my problems with SS buckles in the mid 90s.. It's how I met JP.. anyway,,the first real good fakes from East Europe,,,you can't fit the standard German belt thru.. It's why usually most were bent up, claimed dug etc. You can try it if you have one.. Hopefully JP is around or someone that can help you better...,G.
