Hello Guys,
I have these 2 fire bayonets with your frogs and portepee.
Are these portepee possible to use with fire bayonets, or only to use in Polizei NCO Bayonets???

This knot is a Polizei bayo or sword knot for officer grade personnel. Typically seen on a Polizei bayonet or sword, they were used after the Feuerwehr forces were assimilated into the Polizei as Fire Protection Police. This silver bullion knot would be more appropriate for a short length fire bayonet whereas the long model bayonets could sport the green/silver NCO knot, or so I've been told.
