stingray, the photographs especially concerning the portepee, are, let?s say, modest. A clear and detailed pic of 1.) the band (to recognize waving details) and 2.) the acorn (to compare the parts among each other which is imho important) would be necessary to do a more sure statement.
Generally I agree with Redbaron, but for me the pics are as said above and concerning these pics I am not totally sure. Even more as I have seen some quite good fakes lately.

The hewer itself (and the hanger) is a doubtless original one, nice to see with an early, stamped, number also on the blade.
