Looks genuine, missing 1/2 of the dual strap hanger

Genuine but the condition lets it down, there are plenty about save your money and buy better

Unfortunately the ball at the scabbard tip is missing. The chance of finding a replacement are pretty much nil. Unfortunate, as this is the deluxe scabbard. I have never seen this amount of damage to the ricasso, Perhaps this rode around in a tool box in the back of a truck for 50 years to get into this condition. Original model 39 hangers with need of replacement leather.
I agree that a better model would be desirable.
