Names?
This is embarrassing as I have been on the forum a long time, but have to admit if I met the folks on the street, I would not be able to identify them!

MY GOD!! laugh.. Dave,,thanks SO much... Thats a former me. Gotta be at least 15 years ago... And, that is 'My cousin Vinnys' Dad Vince.. He was a good collector back then. Gave it up shortly after this photo,,within 3 years or so at the most...

About 10 years ago I took my cousin Vinny to Auschwitz. We spent a day there. He gave up collecting right after that... Some don't realize what they are doing when they collect this stuff.. The only reason is to preserve history so no one ever forgets what the nazis did . The millions murdered.. After some realize,,they are a smarter collector or like Vinny give it up... Now don't get me wrong,,Vinny and Vince have 10 or so museum grade / high end pieces. Vinny rarely buys. Would have to be something kind of weird and extra special. but for the most part he's been done for years..

Now back to photos... Dave, we want photos of the show grin , not of 2 now old geezers whistle wink... No really the guys that can't go,,or never have gone,,or never will have the chance , . They want to see the show! The rows,,the tables, the 1000s of riker cases. 100s of helmets, jackets and 1000s of medals & badges. It's all there guys..
Like a museum. IF you have enough money,,almost anything you can dream of you can buy..
We go really to catch up on the year. A couple of the guys I only get to see once a year. SO, it might as well be at the MAX.. We get to see all the cool shit,,have a couple of drinks, a few laughs and sometimes maybe even buy something!!

SO ,,,SHOW PHOTOS OF THE SHOW!! SHOW PHOTOS OF THE SHOW!!! I'll put mine up Sunday nite............

OK, we leaving 4am....* Everyone flying, driving, etc. to the show,,have a safe journey!! I think everyone going should take at least one photo,,and post it here!! We'll see!...,Gaspare

its basically a museum,,,that you can buy from... IF you have never been,,its worth the trip no matter what anyone says.. There are 1000s of items,,3 BIG rooms with 100s of tables in each room. It is attended by collectors from every nation.. I see old friends from Spain, France, Ukraine, Krakow, Missouri wink.. So if you've never been,,you got to go at least once in your life!!

And you mean NO ONE ELSE took photos?!? Come on get them up,,,this is it I'm out for this shows photos.. Over and out..........

Ron,,a page back there is a full case of them!,,,and he had even more and parts. . It is all he collects along with only one or 2 things... Contact Andy [MilitaryNut ] as I believe its one of his good friends.. Think name is D.D. Harris [?] but not 100% sure.. Think he is a member here,,but safe bet is to contact andy and ask about his name etc.

You know it gets harder and harder to get photos.. Guys just don't want their wares photographed for whatever reason,,,some reasons good, most are not! I have to ask every person if I can take a photo of their items. Sometimes when its a no,,I grab a shot anyway while I'm walking away. What do they have to hide? Their faces? no I leave be . But overall its a big hassle to get these photos.. Probably why we're not seeing anyone else's [?]

Ron, and John,,,you two are very WELCOME. The photos are for guys like yourselves that can't make it and are appreciated..... It really magnificent to see IF you've never seen one before..as I mentioned a few times,,museum like,,,and enough money and you can take something home! smile , Enjoy..

Joe,, you are certainly welcome.... You've been here a long time.. I hope one day to meet you at the MAX.,,, its the only show I make anymore.. Maybe one day I'll return to the SOS. when things settle down.. But I look forward to one day meeting you - and some others here. Never know, the worlds a much smaller place now.

Some years ago I member from Moscow , and me from the US, had the opportunity to meet. . We met in Kiev. Only had a couple hours but we had a great time and it was like we knew each other for years.. Thats the brotherhood of this hobby,,one way or another we're in it for one of the same reasons or other.. . OK, so one day Joe,,and the rest of you. look forward to meeting you all...,G.

Wish these photos were the right size but thats my fault. [wrong setting on cam] .. If I could have had that sized right you would really see the magnificent size,, the amount of tables,, the pieces there,,,its really incredible..
God willing next year I'll have better photos to post....,G.
