just found this in an antique shop,,,seller thought this was Civil War era,,,i dont know but found it interesting,,,handle is supposedly from a Parrot gun,,,blade hand engraved with "blade made by C.F.Crouch" on one side,other side has engraving,"Cpl. H.R. Kubick"...clip point bowie style blade is 9",tip to cross guard,,,handle is solid brass and knife on the whole has a nice feel and balance to it,,,any and all comments welcomed,,,Robert

That is a really great knife, but these kinds of knives are niche category all their own. If that turns out to be a Southern gentleman, you are in the chips!
