I attached a zipped photo of an etched SS dagger. I was wondering if it is original or a reproduction. I believe it is a reproduction etch on a original bayonet. Does anyone have any suggestions or information on this bayonet. Thank You

Steve,
Please figure out how to post the picture itself. That way we'll have a copy on the site. There is advice in the welcome area above and the computer help area below
Thanks Dave

Thanks, Steve. I appreciate your effort.
My strong point is SS daggers and this is a bayonet, but I don't have a good feeling about it.
I've observed that items with skulls and SS runes often turn out to have the etches applied much later. Hope I'm wrong.

Nope. Not a chance.
Nice laser etch, though.

No good, nor is the portepee. The bayonet was postwar etched in Europe, some in Great Britain. There is a variety of these, some SS, some not.
