Hi guys,
I thought you might enjoy seeing my other Condor rings. The two Luftwaffe specimens are fronted with rose gold. The Panzer skull seems to be be too. At first, I thought it might be copper but it never shows any greening. In fact, the entire ring might even be made of rose gold with some kind of gold wash.
Cheers,
Stephen

Now that is an interesting ring! Definitely looks like rose gold cartouche, and that sure as heck looks like the LC skull we all know and love but the really interesting part to me are the shanks because that fleur des lis design although French in essence, still plays a big part in Spanish royal and imperial history. Could be a lot of reasons for the inclusion or imposition of the LC skull but that looks like a real gold ring to me in the yellow too, so however it was made it was not cheap!!

That last one looks like the skull was air-sick or has a hangover.

Great ring, though. That's the kind of thing that I might buy on a whim although I do not collect rings.

well thee cartouche is hand carved/engraved! And, It is reminiscent of the Tankers badge skull!.

These type rings always take a degree of faith.. But I'd say a must if you collect CL pieces.. That is a Rose gold. Gold with its 2nd and main other alloy being copper.. In reality is probably has more copper than gold. But still a Very nice ring!!

Thanks guys. I appreciate your comments. I really like this ring, despite its airsick hangover. Never seen another one like it.

It’s possible the owner was in a Legion Condor tank crew in Spain.

- LC ,more than likely yes..

The Niello type rings are very hard to find.. Don;t think there was one at the show nor have I seen any at the local shows... They also made cufflinks, bracelets and pins..
