Derrick,
Welcome to GDC.
Good question but we really do need pictures. Look in the 'Welcome' or computer forums for image resizing tips.

Derrick, these both daggers shows a couple of the ?red flags?. First of all their scabbards and the etch motif with a battle ship and an anchor over the eagle. There are a well known copies. Sorry for such a news. Best, Oleg.

I'm glad to know for sure because I'm not gonna mess with them. That's why I asked some people who knew for sure. Thanks for the info

Oleg, I looked at the site you posted but the picture on there isn't detailed enough to see the dagger blade. But the scabbards is different.

Oleg67, thank you very much for adding the pics to the thread! Important for further reference of this thread.
@Djp20659, as Oleg67, a true experienced collector of navy daggers, aready has stated, both daggers are well known fakes.

I wasn't questioning the fact that they were fakes as he stated or his experience. I was only trying to find some material for personal reference. I haven't collected naval daggers for years nor do I have any to use as reference. But thanks for the clarification wu-tang Regards
