Bought from an old estate today. Anyone have an idea just what i have . Possible German? Also the value.Has ivory grips. No engraving on the blade.Nicely maker marked. Thanks Bob

A quick search on the net for Liege Pelotas points one in the direction of Brazil. I suspect from the eagle you are looking at a south American item not German.

I agree-also --grip appears to be bone rather than ivory
