Thanks to all our veterans today and everyday we live in freedom And prosperity My son was in a martial arts tournament today with all the proceeds benefiting a local veterans support organization Here is the website Its about the warrior foundation Donations always accepted almost 80 percent goes directly to the vets and for a non profit anymore thats very good and highly transparent no more Sierra clubs or any of that nonsense If you have a local vet organization I highly encourage all members who feel so compelled to contribute to theirs Charitable deductions for 2017 I believe go a tad into 2018 but please consider helping those who would lay down their lives to help yours Thanks again vets we remember your service

The wiper was OK but the windshield was frosted over. The heaters on those shop trucks had no defroster so you had to scrape the ice off. Once the cab got nice and warm you were OK

Gaspare,
Yes - Temporary/removable. That was Fort Dix and basic training.
Mulifuel - yes diesel or gasoline. Worked real good on diesel and we were told never to try to run it on gas.

Multifuel Vehicle,,hhmmm,,never heard of that. Sounds very interesting, you got me going now.. Diesel,, internal combustion 4 stroke,,,are 2 completely different operating principles! Gotta look in to that! Fort Dix huh.. Didn't know they let you southern boys up here! . I went to a couple graduations there in the 70s,,,couldn't believe how hot it would get there. Just seemed hotter than the usual NJ / NY summers..

Gaz,
Look up the multifuel engine.I never heard of running on anything but diesel. Great truck. 5 speed gearshift. high and low ranges. No power steering so you got good arm muscles. Air brakes so it would stop in an instant.
I was at Dix January & February of 1964. first 10 days were very mild after that it was coldcold and snowed a LOT.
