I like the stipling and black finish.

It would be nice if it had the beveled ring that attaches to
the medal.

Looks good to me, that's ring is called a "tear drop ring", if I call correctly.

I'm a little leery of this one. The suspension loop can easily be bent into a "teardrop" shape. The joint point of these where they the ends are soldered together should be at or near the narrow end of the loop. The "jump" ring (attached to the medal) appears to lack the ridge that runs around the outer circumference. To my knowledge, only the Deschler medals have the "teardrop" suspension ring, while other makers' are round. The background pebbling does not match the "Deschler" examples. Theirs looks more like a fingerprint, with swirls. There were more than one maker of these and this one could be made by other than Deschler, but it looks to me there is a good possibility someone tried to make this one convincing while, to me, it is questionable.

This is an example of a genuine "Deschler" medal. Note the background pattern and the ridge around the jump ring. Also, the unaltered "teardrop" suspension ring. I have yet to see a reproduction that exactly matches these features.

years ago in the Stump, Boyd, Keating days we probably had a couple best topics on these medals, and their boxes [all the SS line]! Sadly they're gone...anyway,,

This is from a SS 8 year medal but I think [not 100% sure though] the suspension stuff is the same so just to take a look IF you'd like:
