Are you certain that trademark is correct? I cannot quite see all the details, but I know that it has been faked on other daggers. Look where the lines start and stop:

That is an excellent point, Dave!
Yes, there are good copies, but on these the lines of the king are WITHOUT interruptions.
This one is the exact twin (makers mark & positioning, grip wood, grip eagle & other dagger parts...) of my ground Rohm, which I have for over a decade.
Best regards,
Herman

Hello gents and thanks for your opinions ,
I am very disapointed by the comments having only been focused by forge's marks which were correct for this maker and the general
shape!
fakes are a formidable danger and a giant business .
then happy for having missed this "jewel" and thanks again to you .

I can't see the details eighter but I think we souldn't dismiss this dagger too fast. All other parts are original for sure and the blade looks pretty convincing to me as well.

I see nothing incorrect in that trademark. What is exactly wrong? I've seen lots with non interrupted lines...
I'm very far from being an expert (light-years)... but still see nothing wrong with this piece.
Cheers!

Marc, Danny,
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this SA-dagger: it is an 100% textbook SMF Rohm.
The copies have non interrupted lines in the "seated king" logo, low quality blades & inscriptions and mounted in original (but non SMF!) dagger parts: all very easy to spot when you hold such a piece in your hand and even via pictures.
See hereunder the fake blade and logo.
Best regards,
Herman
