Sword This Sword was just given to me and I don’t know what it is. Sword does not have a scabbard and blade is rusty. Any info is much appreciated. Does it have any value in this condition? Thank you. JME

It's a Voos pattern Heer saber. I have the idenatical patttern....though in slightly better condition As far as value, in all honestly, nothing more than the value of parts..which would be tough to salvage. Obviously it's missing it's backstrap/pommel assembly. I would consider more of a curiou at this juncture than anything else.
