Reverse blade:

Sorry about the last couple of shots... kinda blurry. I gotta cut back on the Scotch.

The 2 has lots of black patina, the 1 has lots of lacquer, both daggers look very much the same, except, of course for the upgrades, the insignia and the centre ramp.

Super pieces John, I don't think you can beat the quality of those Alcoso 1st models. I completely agree with the others regarding the Spitzer 2nd models, just super in all aspects.

Here are my two Leader 2's, the one on the right is the ACS upgrade and it is slightly longer than the unmarked one on the right.

It is hard t tell in the pictures, but there are differences between the two, size being the most obvious.

It`s clearly to see in this thread how scarce the postal-leader daggers are.
We had seen some very nice RLB`s but only two postals leaders.
In this aspect, the postals are priced to cheap at all.
(But maybe the RLB`s are a little nicer)

@JohnZ,

the Leather-graining at your first model seems to be untuoched. Also the leather-seam on the scabbard
is some different to most I have seen before.

Did you observe such a seam on more RLB-Leaders?

Paul:

Yes, it came from Brian a couple of years ago. It was the best first that I had ever seen.

Medes:

The 1st does have a pronounced seam... it is pronounced on the grip as well. And, it is slightly off the edge ramp of the scabbard. The upgraded ACS 2 has a very slight seam right on the ramp or edge of the scabbard. The unmarked 2 looks like it doesn't have a seam at all! I gotta check it under a magnifier.

When I have time, I will post pictures of my Postal, a very nice one that I picked up a couple of years ago as well.
