If the decals were the real deal they would have some oxidation and or marks from the chicken wire... In this case they look new.
I don't believe this chicken wire is correct...Looks like the repro stuff you can buy on evil bay.

Robert, I'm no expert on helmets but that one I wouldn't touch with a ten foot poll. I only pick one up if I find it cheap. Condition doesn't matter with me on helmets i just add them in with other stuff. Here is one I seen local at auction two years ago that looked good to me. I posted it and got a big thumbs down on it. Shows what I know  if I remember it sold for well over $1000 sorry for bad pictures my internet is down and I shot the pictures of my PC Steve

Fake decals and recentely applied chickenwire.
Decal are a bad attempt to be Pocher, and without doubt not ET pattern decals.
Sorry very bad helmet..

Here's my Luftwaffe M40 SD ex chicken wire... Wire has been removed (probably by the vet or maybe the original owner - who knows?) but it still shows the marks on the lid...

yup not a good one. but a sharp looking helmet.The decal has a nice original like metallic content.There getting good.
