Hi gents, here is something you don’t see too often, Columbian navy dirk. Almost identical to British midshipman dirk, the only difference is Columbian navy coat of arms on the crossgard and on the blade. I’m unable to find any information about this dagger, other than couple of in wear pictures, below. If you know anything about this dagger and can share it I would appreciate it.

So you are the one that ended up with the WKC. I would have liked to have it. Beautiful dagger but I do not know any more than you about it.

Hi Jim, yes I'm the one smile I really like this dagger and just have to have it. I spent a lot of time researching it, but could find any information. The only info I found is: Columbian navy were using these daggers from 1930 till mid-60th, but then I found fresh pictures of Columbian navy officers wearing these daggers …..

Looks like WKC still making similar model: Royal Navy Midshipmen Dirk

WKC took over the contracts and inventory for Wilkinson Swords when Wilkinson went bankrupt. So they carry all the British swords and this dirk.

I was the guy that cost you the extra $100 in bidding. Sorry

Obviously a good price as I was willing to pay the same. I actually would value this at around $650
