Redsled is My 58 Plymouths name , Here is where she lives. I built this shop in 1994 . I guess you could call it my man cave, I have built several cars in here, They were all Mopar. All of them had 440 engines in them that is all I use. My favorite Mopar engine, Even like them better then the 426 Hemi, and they are a heck of a lot cheaper to build, Well they are not cheap to build either. But now I drink more beer in there then anything else.LOL

Now if you notice the rusty beams and roof. The shop came as a Kit from Arizona and had a flat roof on it and for the first couple of years I fought leaks like you would never believe. So finally I put a Peak on it and Ply wooded and shingled on top of the Metal roof. One of the best things I ever did.

Andy, Well Yea I had to be home by 10 on school nights and by 12 on the week ends, But I had to ask my Dad if I could go till I was about 18 years old. I can remember some of my old cars had bald tires on them and most of the time I didn't know if I had enough gas to make it there and back to see a girl but I would try anyways LOL. Now when I would be late I would try to sneak in. Even through the windows. LOL But no matter what time I got in and get in bed> I thought I had it made and my Mom would say is that you Bob:) Well I was married to my first wife for 2 years, Eva My second wife and I have been married for 45 years.:) She was 17 when we got married. Your Dad probly never told you if you collected German Daggers you would be broke the rest of your life LOL. BOB

Lot of them are gone now> I am so glad I had to get to meet and be friends with these guys. They are a dying breed and won't be long till they are all gone.

Andy that is a great story, I was born in 1942 right in the middle of the war. Wow wish I would have started collecting back then I was always a Gear Head and all my extra money went on hopping up cars. I always had to make them go faster LOL Mainly the 49-51 fords back in the late 50's Most of them would hit 100 MPH before you did anything to them. I would put Mercury motors in most of them and put an Oldsmobile in a couple of them. Beer and women took most the rest of my money. LOL My earliest German Daggers One was a 1st model Luff and a rad Hewer. I was about 7-8 years old and I loved trading, Well I traded a few 100 marbles and a pocket knife and a couple other things for them. I was a happy camper till the kids Dad come over to my house and I had to give them back to him I don't know if I mentioned it or not but I was a Hotel Buyer from about 1975 till 1985 or so. I had a pretty nice Dagger and Pistol collection and a few Samurai Swords. But through the years I have had to sell all of them. Sure wish I still had them:) But I have always stayed with my cars. I have built many Classic cars and race cars . I have drag raced every since I was 15-16 years old. Back streets Main Streets You name it. I have a Local Drag Strip here in Boise Id, I have raced there every since I got out of the Army in 1969:) I'm having a Jolly ol time rememorizing with you Andy Bob

Andy Love your cars, Beautiful all three. I had a 60 Impala Convertible when I was stationed at Ft Sill Ok Must have been around 1966, Had the 335 HP 348 with solid lifters and Tri Power. Of course I race3d it on the Lawton Drag strip. Didn't have any slicks on it and I ran into a girl that had some and she let me use them. Loved that Girl LOL, She was telling everybody I was just going with her for her tires LOL She was a purdy little thing too. I had several 49-51 Fords I think I already told you. I Had a 51 Vicky when I went into the Army, I had to sell it and a 37 cheby 2dr sedan. My friend had a 56 just like yours back in the good old days Same Color and everything. I'm sort of wore out today had to go to the VA and had 4 appointments, getting ready to have shoulder surgery Jan 4th Not too excited about it. I have to search my pc for car pictures. Merry Christmas to you and all the guys Bob

Yea Andy 51 was the first Vic 2drhdtp, Man I loved those Crestline's that came out in 51 with the neat side chrome. I loved listening to the Wolf man Myself. Your Mom sounded like mine, The best I was laying in bed thinking about how many cars I could remember I had, No Nothing wrong with me I still like necked women LOL. Wish I had pictures of all I had, didn't have camera's then like they do now. I have sort of counted I had I had at least 25 cars from the time I was 14 till I went in the army at 19 years old LOL I had three before I even had a License. First car I had was a 1034 Packard Limo, Great shape My dad Paid 35 dollars for it in about 1953 or so. If I had it now I could buy a bunch of SS Daggers Then I had a Model A Ford and a 1948 Buick. I could only drive them down the lane, not in town But right now I am at the end of the car thing. When These are gone I'm done. Buy me a bunch of daggers to look at. LOL Bob

Andy I really love your 60 and the 50 Ford well all three . On your Continental Kit is Beautiful, I have a friend or rather cousin has a super nice 57 Chevy and at a concert and show here at Boise say 15-30 years ago Bobby Vee was there and my cousin had "Devil or Angel" Painted on it and Bobby Vee signed it for him. He was a great person and entertainer, I will miss him a lot. When Bobby Vee has a concert you have probly seen him throw the rubber balls to people in the Audience well I was never lucky enough to catch one so when I had him to Autograph a picture , I said Bobby I would love to have one of those rubber balls. He left and went back stage or to his room and got one and signed it for me. These young or younger guys on here don't know how it felt when you were driving down the road with your girl and a brand new song makes its day butte on the radio. LOL

Andy here are Pictures of the 60 chevy conv I had, must have been in about 1966 after I had come back from Germany still single , I can remember I had a Red Haired Girl friend LOL, I can remember years pretty well with the cars and girlfriends had LOL I had painted the center of the chrome black instead of white. I always liked black instead of the white

Well on the 60 Impala , I bought a 58 White Impala 348 with a turbo Glide tranny , you know the one with the grade retainer GR . Had it about two or three months and the tranny went out, Not a good tranny, So I traded it for the 60 had to pay some boot. Went and rebuilt the engine and everything in the 60 because I run the ******** out of them,LOL Right after that I traded it in for a Brand New 64 Pontiac Bonneville . Got orders in 68 and had to sell it before I went to Nam.

Andy it is a beauty, Love it All my classic cars have to have a big block, It is like the one I told you I had when I was a kid . Mine was only about 6 0r 7 years old when I got it. It had one of those big Case double bladed knives under the seat. I gave it to my dad and when he passed in 1975 I gave it to my Uncle Dads Brother Hubert, When he passed my cousin Bill Hubert's son gave it back to me and I still have it Yep she is a beauty, The Hub caps on it I used to put them on lots of my cars, They would get stolen about every couple of weeks, I had insurance and they would replace them LOL

Paul Revere and Mark Lindsay the original Lead singer I saw Bill Pinksly last of the original Drifters about a Month before he passed. Loved the Drifters. My Wife and I went to an Oldies Cruise several Years ago. Paul Revere and the Raiders, Bobby Vee, The Turtles and the Tokens were playing. One each night Loved it

Bob You sure have a super collection, as well as all the others. If I had went all German military, my collection would be much much larger also, but I would have soo many empty rooms. You probably have seen this, but take a look at Dragonman.com. Some pritty nice things. I still have not tried to load photos to this site, should do it some day. Reguards Ed

Bob Yes it is hard to find. If you get on youtube, try the best armed man in america, or dragonman, you should be able to get there. He is a class 3 dealer in Colorado Springs Co., been there, it is tooooo much to take in on just one visit. Best of luck, Ed
