Hello gentlemen- I have a question about a bayonet scabbard... I'm wondering if u can help? Looks to me like an eickhorn scabbard and on the reverse "121NoJ7" is this an infantry marking? I know that J sometimes means infantry... thank u for any info, Mike

Bayo that goes w it appears to be some sort of export Mauser bayo maker marked s/241 Clemens and Jung? Great shape the blade... but can anyone tell me which nation this is from? No other markings except the number and the "a" on the other ricasso.

Thank u very much EL.... I was reading thru that last night.. i wonder why the blade is blued w the German marking? Appears to be unused or unissued... no export marks on it. Just the 2 ricasso stamps. Also anyone have an ID on the scabbard? Am I right in guessing infantry?

I guess the first scabbard looks like a swedish unit marks above frog hook, typical to see on swedish M1896 bayonets, anyway on frog hook is a david star or Y stamp in circle? and bayonet looks like reworked in israeli M1 design with new crossguard, it could be a israeli postwar rework ,bayonet has probably 37 on spine of blade near barell ring for 1937 production of C&J .b.r.Andy

Hi br Andy thank u very much for the info as well! Its hard to tell if there's a Y but there may have been at one time.., yes 37 on the spine of the blade (really a beautiful one, looks unused, really liking it a lot!) couple waffenampts on the pommel and at the base of the rifle notch.
