I have seen very beautiful and strange dagger. It has some features which I never saw earlier on other similar daggers. I would like to learn opinion of professionals on this dagger.

Usually in the left part of this drawing there is no bird. It is always located on reverse side of blade.

Usually this part of a scabbard looks a little differently. On this simple circles.

100% correct and a VERY rare piece. I have only seen about 10 of these.

There exists a rare ALCOSO miniature with true stag horn grip which is the exact copy of this dagger. Regards,

Thanks for good news. But I have looked at Gary's dagger and have seen that excited me. It's absolutely correct item. The dagger have a MM on a habitual place and drawing on blade has differences with discussed dagger. Really at such limited circulation of similar items there could be similar differences?

Not a problem at all. I have seen the makers mark on both sides on these and different blade etches. I believe these were all custom made special orders as each one is slightly different. Some are even as much as 1/3 larger overall than others.I have seen one presentation and two personalized ones. The option of personalization on the reverse is one reason some have the TM on the obverse of the blade. That is the case with mine.

There's another beautiful Alcoso to add to the list, a really nice conditioned dagger, with very nice accoutrements, can you ask your friend if he found it as it is now with the frog and Jnr forestry knot. Thanks for posting these pictures.
