Hi,

I've been to Vienna couple of times and will be back again next spring and honestly, there ain't much in terms of Antique Shops selling TR artifacts.
As for Museums, nothing really related to the TR era either.
However, they have great beers, so enjoy it. Wink

Try this, they have something on WWI, click on "Exhibitions".

I watched a program on the Travel Channel last nite and I'd be happy to go there for just the food and beer. I'm just joking and it really appears to be a beautiful city.

I am with Pat,
it is not easy to find any TR related item in antique shops in Austria.
The austrians are really want to forget they were dedicated follower of Hitler. (Otto Skorzeny was born in Vienna!) They don't like to talk about that period.

The city is absolutely beautiful, the restaurants are great. Taste the famous Austrian beer and enjoy the city!
Try the Austrian cuisine, it is different than German!

If you get to head south to Salzburg, om the top floor of the big castle on the big hill overlooking the city ( you can't miss it) There is GJ museum, dedicated to the unit from the area.
But 3rd Reich stuff is downplayed a bit. They had the swazis on several pieces covered.

But as mentioned, the food and bier were fantastic!

The army museum is a MUST!!!
The finest museum I've ever visited. Easy to spend a whole day there!!
Think it's called Heeresgeschichtliches Museum and it's 10 minutes from the center of vienna.

Best regards,

Tor-Helge
