Hello friends! I was hoping I could get some info and opinions on this HJ cap. The construction seems good to me, no glow under blacklight, looks to be cotton with rayon type lining. No tags or marks. What is throwing me off is the yellow piping. I have seen the standard red, and a white piped one from a certain school, but can find no reference to yellow. It looks the same as the rest of the material in the pics, but in person it is discernably different. Any help would be appreciated.

Lemon yellow was for HJ Signals units, golden yellow for HJ Marine units. Examples of the shoulder tabs are in the "Collar/Shoulder Tabs - Other NSDAP" gallery.

Thanks for the help Vern! Comparing the boards to my cap, the color most resembles the HJ Marine, as it seems a little darker than the signals yellow. This must be a bit harder to find than your standard HJ cap, as I couldn't find an example like this online. Cheers..Steve

Actually, found out the HJ Marine had a Kriegsmarine style cap, so signals it is!
