r.i.a. usually has the best rifles and pistols for sale at thier auction this walther is something of real beauty with walther factory engraving oak leavs and acorns magnificent workmanship the cuff links and ring i have to agree with gaspare they just dont have that appeal . the one thing missing is no documentation where did these items come from yes jim rankin has documented a few fully engraved walthers in his books but still no cigar this walther will be sold any ways who knows it might go back to germany i can live with out it but still nice to see thanks guys have a great day andy militarynut

For those who did not follow the auction, this item (gun and jewelry) was pulled by RIA before the auction with the explanation that they had received confirmation that the pistols was sold in the late 1980s with standard brown grips. No mention of whether engraved or gold plated. So RIA reported they pulled the item to protect their customers.
