Picked this up the other day, real nice original stein, no chips, the litho on the bottom has 3 hairline cracks but is all intact, real nice one. Nice to see an original with all the fakes out there.

Great looking Bavarian stein.(18th Infantry Regiment Prinz Ludwig Ferdinand , Landau (HQ)

Love the Germania motif.

Unusual hat on the finial figure (doesn't look like a picklehaube)...Is it an alpine-type hat or something else?

Thanks for the closeups. Obviously IS a picklehaube, spike just got a little smooshed.
I thought maybe it was some unique finial variation.

Still, a nice stein.
