They turned these out in mass the same as the East German daggers. They come in a variety of colored handles. I remember seeing them in numerous dealer tables at the major shows. You do not see them all that often anymore.

You pretty much have to assume they are all for tourists.

What are these going for??

The design is nice, but they look a bit "plastic fantastic"..and if its a tourist item I guess not worth spending $$$ on.

I count 4 examples with different colored scabbards on the worlddaggers site. We sold all 4 while properly disclosing my belief that they were mass produced for tourists. They went for $200 to $250. This was some time ago. I would think $150 would be nice. They are all patterned after the 1992 Defense Ministry Honor Dagger. They are really plastic looking and feeling.

I do not have one in my collection nor do I want one.
