Are we on the dagger forum? YES. PHIL993, sometimes it is not possible to do immediate answers. Sometimes the proper collectors ar not around. Unfortunately, although here is still the best forum on IIIR daggers, it goes slowly. The dagger shown here is -only from the pics- an original, period one. As a late exemplar the quality in certain details does lack a little comparing with early pieces. Nevertheless the examination of the swaz´ is especially necessary as I personally do know the appearance especially on diplomat daggers more exact and clean. It might be that it is a late exemplar but imho a direct examination is necessary. Also, due to the high quality fakes which are around an in hand inspection of the whole dagger is highly recommended. Regards,

Wotan, thank you very much for your kind reply, and sorry for my insistance and my impatience, what you told me is almost going in the same way than the guys from the WAF,and Ron has also confirmed a good one on the WAF. As you said, not the pretiest, but a real one. Is it a big difference of price between the early and the late models ?

PHIL993, I personally have not seen any price difference between early and late models. There might be only minute differences in minute details and material differences in small parts. As far I can see in the pics the dagger shown here has still "early dagger parts" although already a late mm on the blade, so no remarkable quality loss here.
No problem, I can understand any impatience when you want to buy a certain dagger or it is offered to you and you urgently need a judgement.
Regards,
