Hello People, One friend sent to me this sword. This is my first Heer Sword in my hands. It is a Carl Eickhorn Sword. Is it a good item? Is the paint in scarbard original? Is the knot original? Best regards, Schmidt

Hello Schmidt, From what I am seeing I would say that your friend did well by you. A later manufacture German Army saber by Eickhorn with what looks like a good sword knot (and scabbard). Best Regards, Fred
