Hi guys! I need some help to ID this shoulder strap. The cypher looks identical to Kaiser Alexander garde grenadier regiment 1, although color is different (silver) and all I saw on internet is always in gold. Is it important detail or it really doesn't matter in German army ( silver or gold ) for the same regiment? Also what rank it is? Thank you all in advance!

Offizierstellvertreter (Deputy Officer) for Kaiser Alexander Garde-Grenadier Regiment 1. The gilt could have come off, or it could be a later WW1 "muted" strap.
