Yes, I think quite rare... And very interesting when you do a internet search,,plenty of photos and film!
Here is one I found on the net. Same type,,Dutch reissue, same boards, tabs etc. but without pockets..

Love Volunteer stuff, someday i hope to own a tunic like that (keep that in mind if you ever want to sell one lol) A shame that a lot of eastern volunteer tunics are put together or repaired though, rarely do you see a 100% original one. I have some footage of Georgian volunteers, from a local archive. About 15min (it's sped up, so it's actually 30min), about halv of it is in colour, lots of good shots in it. Send a message if you want a copy
