Here is a quick few shots of a nice condition HR that sold a short while ago on auction. Photos not the biggest or the best,,but its almost a one looker!

History of the ring:

The inside of the ring is engraved: Slb. Daberkow 21.6.40 Himmler.
Ernst Daberkow was an SS-Obersturmführer and II company adjutant with the 7th SS Standarte "Der Führer". Daberkow died of wounds received in battle in Holland on 1 November 1940, less than five months after this ring was awarded!

a few more! His quick death only after a few months receiving the ring explains its great condition!

Wow G it looks just about perfect, look at the back of the ring- it's always at least a little worn here- how crisp that circle is near the oak leaves!

5 months!, so very little wear,,,OR,,he might have not ever even got to see it!
I'm not sure... Would they just deliver that to his home/family?
Or does it get delivered to him in the field??
