Hello friends and Happy New Year! This was just found locally yesterday.. must say I have been looking for an example of this first crossguard produced and used very briefly by E.U.F. Horster for a good while! Notice this dagger bears the early large maker mark.. Please enjoy and I look forward to your input and questions. Best, Kevin.

Kevin beautiful army and great find. Glad you finally added the elusive Horster Type-1 to your collection. Great patina and crisp crossguard great conditioned piece. As said it�s a very difficult variation to find �.They are very scarce. See you at the SOS in 47 days!
