Hi Gents,

I just bought this dagger, at a reasonable price. It looks good to me, but I have read all the threads on GD Forum and was spooked by some of the references to excellent fakes produced in the 70's, that still lurk in many collections.

I hope the photographs are good enough. I will add them in stages. Any questions please ask!

I agree with John, looks like an original. Congrats on scoring one at a decent price too.

The scary fakes are the more recently produced ones from the former Eastern Bloc, I think the 1970's reproductions are easy to spot from the poor workmanship when compared with originals.

I agree very nice & hard to find dagger.

Thanks chaps. The DRP dagger is a beautiful model. I didn't realise until I held one in hand how well proportioned and stylish it is. I forgot to post one more picture, reverse of the clip. Might be useful for other collectors looking for this dagger.
