Hello diplo Matt, perhaps this certain knot with the card is for lower ranks for the bayonet - although I doubt that.
There are a lot of knots around nobody knows for what they are.

Hello diplo matt, at least you do have two very nice custom knots! These are at least scarce and might be added eg. to an EICKHORN "von Stein" which was one of the sabers recommended to be worn by custom officials.
Here you have the certain photograph. The man has a very(!) distinct physiognomy so you will easily recognize him.
The saber is not so easy to be recognized but believe me, when you do look with a magnifying glass (what I did) you can recognize the armistice emblem (instead of the eagle/swaz emblem) in the lancet.
Sorry for the bad quality, but due to crooks who do steal expensive photographs out of the net I am not willing to show quality scans any more.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for sharing your iteme & expertise in this obscure & sometimes overlooked niche.
I would agree with Wotan that when I first saw the knots Dippy posted, that I too thought they were Customs affiliated based on the color scheme. The one with the leather strap I believe is for EM & rarely seen. Great stuff guys.

As I had to learn that even here photographs are "taken" ("booted"....????) by members without any permission or credit and are shown in other forums as it would be their photographs I had to decide that I will not show ANY pictures neither "wearing" pics nor photographs of my items ANY MORE.

Regards, Sort of a test here.. Eagle head Armistice model??? The sword pictured in Wotan's post.. Does anyone know the correct Eickhorn Model number and the correct designation of the (pictured) (Key word here) sword ?? Regards: James

OK, I will give a hint ..It is actually a Eickhorn 1662 Police sword for a certain German State introduced in the Early 30s.And it seemed to be carried over.This is part of what period documents show...This comment is on the sword Wotan has pictured only... (Big hint)

As I said in the beginning I am not really a sword collector .so not wishing to appear thick
A. Do I own a justice official sword .
B.Are my pictures in the album of a justice sword,an armistice or a n other.
C.what are the values of the three swords inc accouterments .
The other issue of copied photos ,does not really annoy me but reminds me of the saying that to copy is the best form of flattery.I Am happy to show my photos as if need be I can prove they belong to me and that is after all 9 tents of the law lol.

DAMAST, the eagle saber shown in the photographs by diplo matt and me is one and the same, it�s the same person/wearer.
I did look through all my files but could not find the proper # for the armistice saber.
