In the last handful of years, we have been extremely lucky, to have turn some pretty neat SS edged weapons, up out of the weeds. Among these are a near mint Boker M33, the SS Chain dagger of General George Altner, the Walter Harzer RK/SS collection (shown on our site), and now this little gem. This is straight from the vet's family ,just this week. Some members on this site, may like is as well as we do. And I thought that I'd post it here for their enjoyment.

Really, do you have to show this dagger?! Now I want it! LOL.
Very nice piece man. I wish I could find a dagger like that!

The untouched condition of these desired rare types are whats really attractive for the advanced collector...and in many ways.
Most Himmler inscription daggers if not all are generally cleaned and shiney. This particular example..shines from within...not only the brightness of the blade...but because it shines from seeing the light of day for the first time..coming directly from the VET ..UNCLEANED AND UNTOUCHED !! Bravo !!
This is what gives hope to future collectors that as Paul Hogle " lakesidetrader " has said ..." There is Still Wood left in the Woodwork "
Theses amazing artifacts can still be had. Thanks for Showing JR ...Best Regards Larry

Extraordinary! Well done sir. Looks like that blade hasn't been unsheathed for 70 years! Thank God no one left finger prints on it before it was put away.
