I collected Prison/ Justice Official swords for years owning every known maker shown in Algolia's ref. Here's a new one by Alcoso! 1st I've seen! I freaking love these evil looking swords!
Enjoy!

Beautiful collection Paul. Thanks for showing these.
Have you ever seen a justice or prison sword that was personalized?

Thanks for showing. I've always thought they are one of the best looking Third Reich swords. Are the fittings the same as the ones by Clemen & Jung, WKC?

Oh, BTW, the silver, (justice Offical's) above is an example of the WKB offering.
Never seen a personalized example but would love to see one.
I once was heavily addicted to these and put it out there that I would pay stupid prices for them.
Was a wild ride for a few years!

This is my all time favorite. Grosser size!

All beauties, Paul. These are the times that make me want to rethink my no swords strategy.

And, it's niche. wink

Easily the most impressive "prison" design. By PUMA.
Look at THAT eagle´s head!
Unfortunately not mine, shown by a member in german forum.

And a justice unmarked one, obviously the CLEMEN & JUNG model, from my collection.

For some reason I listed WKC in my post as being like the C&J pattern. I actually meant Eickhorn but was wrong on that also as they are both different in design. Any way, here's my C&J.

Beautiful swords fellas a fine addition to not only a sword collection but any III Reich collection.
Heres mine came with the Heer portepee from the Vet.- Sword and portepee have that well worn look but still has plenty of gilting on the aluminum base.

Very nice examples of the Justiz- and Sanatits- swords. Just to expand the discussion a bit here are examples of the two uniforms that these swords were worn with.

First, a Justice Official with green piping and silver buttons. Second, a Prison Official with carmine piping and gold buttons.

diplo matt, first let me thank you for showing your additional pics to the thema.
You have some very rare sabers in very nice condition!

Just let me do some small corrections. The two knots, shown beside the one with the tag do look for me like custom knots. As justice knots officer grade are gold/red and prison knots officer grade knots are gold/green, these certain silver/green knots with silver in the bands seem to be custom officer knots.

And I have collector´s envy concerning these nice wearing-pics but not all sabers which have a eagle´s head are justice or prison sabers. I know this for certain because I have a nice portrait of the very same man (!) in which the hilt of the saber can be seen in detail. It is an armistice saber with pigeon/twig in the lancet and was worn this way by the army. This explains also the army uniform he is wearing.

Hi Wotan thanks for your kind words .I will try tommorow to take better photos of the man wearing the sword there are some more in the album.it does look like a justice sword under a loop .I would love to see that photo what a coincidence. I have been collecting dagger and sword photos for 15 years now and have approx 1000, I will see if I have any other justice sword photos.when I obtained the knot with the title justice portapee on the label I wondered why it was silver and green,so when I bumped into the other two I kept them with it, Are there any records or photos of the gold and green portapee. I am not questioning your vast knowledge and experience just trying to learn. I can always put one of the knots on my customs sword. I also have a water customs sword do you know what knot goes on those. I love my accoutrements and am trying to complete my daggers and swords.oh just a by the by two of these swords came from Jersey .
Thanks dippy photo is the back of the tag

Here is a doubtless prison official saber portepee. Note that the strands in the band are also gold colored.
Concerning the photograph of the army NCO with the armistice saber I will come back soon.

Hi thanks Wotan I know what I'm looking for now. I wonder why the supplier named the one I have with the card justice portapee ,maybe an apprentice error. I have taken a few more photos of the justice sword I will add soon.
Thanks dippy
