So, where are there copies of this old ad catalog to search through. I cannot find it with search or google, so I just want to ask you guys if there is such an online publication or do these old catalogs only exist in guarded collections?

there is no such thing,,,oh maybe there was a master to show the retailers but never saw such and they probably didn't survive the war....

What you will find is,,,,small adverts showing 4 or 8 rings etc. in the back of the periodicals back then.. Der SA Mann,,KM,,Der Adler, etc..Also,,IF you can find any of the 'trade' monthly / quarterly mags like a engravers or machinist ones etc. You got to search many mags to find a small ad.

One time someone told me the period jewelry catalogs were loaded with 'nazi rings".. The catalogs are very hard to find,,and expensive! They are full of womens jewelry in there.. Yes, for the men too! ,there are pocket watches, fobs,,cufflinks, cigg cases,,and yes mens rings,,these are the 'Nazi rings' I found in there..

Another time paid a fellow who had ALL the SS newspapers to tell me which papers had a ring ad in them and make a copy of each [ WOW SS rings out the ********!].. Well,,,didn't work out so good. There were none, NONE! Not one ad in any of the papers! Still had to pay him though....

now it IS good to see old ads like that.. Look close enough you'll see some of the band patterns are similar to what we collect!

Also all old ads, etc. will show the style and shape of the bands and all are worth a look to study..

of course there are a lot of period catalogues, but i never have seen/heard of a Degner one

And patriotic stuff in this manufacturers catalogues is rare, very rare

The well known ring ad from UNIFORM - DEGNER (Berlin, Saarlanderstr 105) originates from the magazin "Erika", double issue 29/30 from 1941 to be specific. The ad can be seen here on the left of the first collage. http://www.fisherklub.cz/obsah/prsteny
