lore.,,,, ALL those rings and the ones in the cases from the front page ,,,and even more,, WILL be shown and described in my project..
I promise you it will be before the end of the year [which is coming very fast my friend].
And,,,,those are just the rings I own... There will be twice as many from contributors!,,many from the collections of members right here!

Like Skull rings?!? Most of this collection from California will be in it,,,and other complete collections of many many other different type / pattern rings will be featured!

I know many are rushing me. I'm really doing the best I can. Thanks to members like BadBob,,MilitaryNut,,and Odal who generously contributed many of his rings but also helped out with translations,,and thanks to many more!
Believe me guys,,it will be worth the wait!!

Big moment for our hobby when a world expert publishes a seminal work on the subject, IMHO.

svenga,,, I had a couple emails about that collection... I wrote in my post but I guess like me once they see it everything else goes out the window!

The collection belongs to a fellow in Hollywood who likes all things 'Skull'.. When it comes to rings he likes usually to collect only German WW2 period skull rings!

I have about 40 skull rings in my collection. IF you follow the link here to the other topic you will see some of mine in a case on page one...

My Hollywood friend has even more!! He's been sad lately because he see's nothing new for his collection. I've told him this is natural, that he better start to get 'happy' to even add one or 2 a year once you get that many!!
Interesting is,,he doesn't really like HRs.!! He owns a early pattern and he's happy with it but doesn't want a later pattern not any others. I guess more for the next guy! wink

I envy your Hollywood friend! He has good taste and a good choice in collecting genre..

When I study that picture I realise just how many common/well known patterns I am missing!

This book will be a bible to some..

Sven.
