I came across some really cool stuff last week which I would like to share with you. This is the first one. Is this a real Japanese Dagger, and roughly what is it worth?
Thanks for looking.

it appears to be genuine late war. It appears to have a leather material on it scabbard as opposed to ray skin. Value about $250 to $300. It is missing the flower on the grip.

Navy dagger. Many variations of these. The deluxe variation has shark/ray covered scabbard. All metal originally had gold plating wash. As mentioned missing cherry blossom device on grips. These daggers are frequently on eBay

Thanks guys.
If i want to sell it, would I be better off on ebay, or offering it here in the For Sale section?
I have been away for a while, and would like to support the site and fellow collectors,
but it sure looks like this site has lost a lot of the old members.
Thanks again,
Chief
