I would like to ask the opinion of this forum about this Panzer SS Visor cap. The insignas are of Zamak.

"militarymania and rzm 499", is there anything SPECIFIC ya'll can point out as to why it may be a fake? It sure would help us 'amateurs'. Thanks, Mike

I like the interior as well? The insignia is an instant giveaway. ALWAYS avoid the cartoon-ish grins. (zamac = replica?)

hi,,,i dont like the "fuzziness" of the caps piping,,it looks to have "whiskers",,many repro caps have this common feature...that and the insignia,as others have pointed out,are what i dont like about the exterior

Hat is a franky. Not a bad one, but they forgot the correct pleating of the Pekuro interior, among other things, to include the fuzzie-wuzzie piping.
Also, is that glue on the velvet? Some lazy rebuilders actually glue the velvet to the pasteboard.

Thanks RZM 499, BIG difference when look at the skulls in comparison!! The eagle has less of a glaring difference though. Thanks again. MIke

Agree!! The fuzziness of the piping is a big red flag alone. Originals just don't fray like this.
